While we’re not able to share an official opening date just yet, I want to be transparent about where we are in the process — and what’s happening behind the scenes as we take the required steps toward opening.

Even though our doors aren’t open yet, a lot of important work is happening every day.

Zoning & Building Approval for Our Indoor Play Café in Vestal, NY

Happy Days Play Café is currently in the required zoning and permitting phase. We are actively waiting on zoning approval and our building permit, which must be completed before construction can begin.

Zoning approval is a necessary part of opening a business and it ensures the space meets all local safety, building, and occupancy requirements before any work moves forward.

While this phase takes time, it is essential to making sure Happy Days is built correctly, safely, and in full compliance from the very beginning.

While zoning and permitting are in progress, we’re using this time intentionally to design the space.

Behind the scenes, we’re:

• Designing play zones specifically for children ages 0–7

• Prioritizing clear sightlines so parents can easily supervise

• Selecting durable, cleanable, and kid-safe materials

Our goal is to create an indoor play café in Vestal that feels bright, calm, clean, and welcoming — a space that supports joyful play without feeling chaotic or overstimulating.

Planning Birthday Parties, Classes, and Events for Local Families

Happy Days Play Café will offer more than just open play.

We’re actively planning:

• Birthday party experiences that feel joyful but manageable

• Themed events for toddlers and preschoolers

• Parent-child classes and activities

• Baby-friendly programming focused on movement and connection

Every experience is being designed around structured, intentional play that supports both children and caregivers.
